It's September and that means prepping for my only in-person event scheduled for the last half of the year -- Mini Con!
We'll be back at the McCully-Moiliili Public Library [map] on September 29th from 10am - 2pm. It's a free event, but parking is limited at the library -- overflow parking should be available at Ross Dress-for-Less across the street.
This year's line-up is better than ever with returning artists Brady Evans, Jon J. Murakami, Kevin Sano and me. We're joined by Derick Fabian of 7Sketches - who will also be doing a talk at noon.
Wasabi Magazine's editor in chief Antonio Vega, graphic designer Jason Nobringa, and Jon J. Murakami (who's also their staff cartoonist!) will be doing a talk at 11am about their local publication highlighting Japanese culture here in Hawaii.
neet Honolulu, the one-night arts & crafts show, will help staff the event and be available for questions if you're interested in signing up for their next show!
Save the date and hope to see you there! ♥
